MediPlace uses a minimal set of cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or third-party tracking cookies. We do not build user profiles for advertising purposes. We do not sell cookie data or share it with advertisers.
The cookies we use fall into two categories: strictly necessary cookies (required for the platform to function) and analytics cookies (which help us understand how the platform is used). That's it.
These cookies are essential for MediPlace to function. Without them, you would not be able to log in, navigate the platform, or use core features. These cookies cannot be disabled.

Our analytics configuration does not collect personally identifiable information. IP addresses are anonymized before any data is processed. We do not enable advertising features, demographics reporting, or any data sharing with advertising networks.
For clarity, MediPlace does not use:
MediPlace uses Cloudflare Turnstile for invisible spam protection on forms (such as sign-up and inquiry forms). Turnstile verifies that you are a real person without displaying a CAPTCHA challenge.
Turnstile does not set persistent cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites. It uses a short-lived, session-based token to complete the verification and then discards it.
In addition to cookies, MediPlace may use your browser's local storage to save non-sensitive preferences (such as UI state or filter selections) to improve your experience. Local storage data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear local storage through your browser's settings at any time.
You can opt out of Google Analytics in several ways:
Opting out of analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use MediPlace. All platform features work exactly the same without analytics cookies.
Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. Here are instructions for common browsers:
Important: If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of MediPlace may not work correctly. You may not be able to log in, and your language preference may not be saved between visits.
The only third-party cookies on MediPlace are set by Google Analytics 4 for the analytics purposes described in Section 3.2.
Google's handling of analytics data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
We do not allow any other third parties to set cookies on mediplace.ca.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time if we change the cookies or similar technologies we use. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy and post the updated policy on mediplace.ca.
If we introduce a new category of cookies (beyond strictly necessary and analytics), we will notify registered users by email before those cookies are activated.
